I had put some money down on a Mesa Express 5:25 two days ago after falling in love with it and talking to the guys on here. But my financial situation made me realize it probably isn't smart to blow that much on an amp right now. So I tried a few other lower priced tube amps and before leaving tried the Bugera V22. It was only $349 and it sounds pretty good for what it is IMO. I'll prob get the Mesa later on when I got the dough but this should do for now. Any opinions on these?

Truthfully, I never liked the Mesa Express series much. I think you made a good decision.

wow having a faulty fender hotrod deluxe, I may consider swapping the amp for a bugera, it does sound good and it's bloody cheap !!!

Never played a Bugera but our very own John Denner uses them and his playing and tone...jaw meets floor!
So I guess at that price point you can't go wrong with one of these!
