So I was scammed!

You have to know that that guy Darren C. Walters form McAllen, TX has committed a fraud. Now the McAllen police department is dealing with him. They have forced him to give me back 30% of the total $ amount so far. They are still forcing him to give me back the rest. He is avoiding to do that and he can end up in prison. I have got all the evidence of his crime.

Big Poppa - please don't close this thread as you did with my previous one. I just wanted to warn all the forum fellows against this guy cause he IS A FRAUD. Sad but true.

That's a really said story for me.
One thing I can tell you for sure - I will do anything to get all of my $ back.

If anyone can help out with info, I would much appreciate it. He convinced me to send the Paypal using the "personal" tab to save on fees. Advice: never do this, always use your credit card as the funding source, lesson learned.

I am an attorney, and would like to get the authorities involved and wonder how that worked for the guy from Poland.

This is the bass in question, I had contacted him just to ask a question, and he offered to sell it to me for $740 delivered:
1982 RICKENBACKER 4001 PROJECT or PLAYER BASS OHSC NR - eBay (item 220551770816 end time Feb-05-10 08:17:08 PST)

If that's his ebay auction, and you already paid for the bass and got scammed, I would notify ebay and have them pull his listing down so that he doesn't do it to anymore people. Contact PayPal about it as well.
