When I bought my 20th, my wife was pregnant with our 4th child. It took a bit of strategizing and strategery :D , but I did it. I had to sell my Luke and my Axis SS, but I'm glad I did...even if that Luke was the very first guitar I've ever had.

I can always get another Luke and another Axis SS, but the 20th is something I did not want to miss out on.

Norrin, get it while you can!

Well,

buying guitars in my household is quite a delicate procedure! :D Believe me, I want this one - now I am going to strategize (not an actual word, but clearly a derivative of "strategery") on how to make it happen - something else will have to go, sad, but true. And my wife is currently 6 months pregnant with no. 3, so things are very delicate! :D Seriously though, she's a great gal - I couldn't have done better. Working the deal for this new one - that's gonna take some effort on my part.

And BP - thanks again for making the 20ths!!! Just awesome! :)

I've heard so much good stuff about the 20th Silo, it's untrue. I really need to try one out soon.

i like the fact that it's a limited run as well. Come on guys, if you get the chance, you've got to get one, I can only see them appreciating in value.

Thanks BP...I sorta snuck into this forum several weeks back and didn't properly introduce myself. It's amazing how this place instantly makes you feel welcomed...very cool.

I've been a horn player (trumpet) for around 25 years and after experiencing horn sections practically disappearing from bands I decided to follow a dream I've had for as long as I can remember and become that guitar player I've always wanted to be! I'm a HUGE Lukather fan which is what led me to EB. I'm looking forward to a great relationship with this company and with the cats on this forum.

I'm already thinking about my next axe and I haven't even received this one yet!

Hands down the 20th Anniversary Silhouette is the best sounding guitar I have ever heard/played/experienced

I totally agree...the guitar is something different, it has the power of humbucker but the clarity of single coils...

man, it makes me anxious, cause it's now discontinued and I'll need a spare on day, cause it's so good !!!!

Honestly speaking.. I saw your Silo 20th anniv pic and decide to pull the trigger because, well.. This guy 20th anniv have weired quilted.. I need to buy the one with weired flame too.. So I did..

What I mean with flame here is not bad weired.. I mean different flame compare to:

AN UPDATE:

My very very gracious wife agreed to allow me to purchase the 20th Silo I played at GC last week! I guessed that it would sound killer with my RV50 and I was right!!!

BP & crew - you guys really outdid yourself on this one!

It's funny, before I played this guitar I didn't think I really liked natty headstocks, rosewood fingerboards or the look of the pickups on the 20ths - I was wrong! The tone that this puts out can change your mins about a lot of things. :D

Anyways, if there is no pic, it must not exist!

(some quick shots with my crappy Sony DSC P200 (DO NOT BUY ONE!!!):

cool! the fingerboard wood looks interesting, does it need a good clean, or is it just a lighter colour?

LOL!

Yeah - I had just taken those shots after a really good cleaning AND fretboard conditioning!. The RW fingerboard is very very light in color - it's more caramel colored than any RW board I've ever seen - just gorgeous with this guitar. Man do I feel lucky with this one!
