That's what Pete told me, anyway, but you know how these things are. Labor can go on for a long time and I might have a couple more weeks of pacing up and down in front of me.

The good news is that there's never had to be a Ceasarian yet, as far as I know. Patience, calm and making sure Al's headstock is oriented the right way so it comes out easily are key.

No word from the maternity ward yet. I've got a stock of cigars laid in and the stork's on speed dial.

I heard that they forgot to re-order the knobs that they ran out of a week ago... Don't worry though, it's only going to be a couple more short weeks before the knobs come off backorder, and once they arrive it will take approximately 3 days for them to be unpacked and put into inventory. Once that happens, the knobs can be pulled from inventory and sent to the knob installation person and since they've been on backorder for the last week or two, your particular Big Al is #49 in the line-up for installation..... torture, torture, torture...

All kidding aside AD, I can't wait for you to get that Bad Boy either... I'm thinking I'm going to order one soon, and since you also are a bongoloid.... well, what can I say - looking forward to your review - post NBD~!
