And I took so many high-resolution photos.

The guitar looks great, and plays so nicely. I was disappointed to find out that I got a flame top, and I'm trying to get used to it, but I'll admit I'm let down. Also, the top isn't bookmatched really.

However I'm still really happy, and I'm in the middle of setting it up with 9's.

The case looks great too!

if we did all quilt tops the wait time would be twice as long at least. Especially given the top quality that these tops are. All BFR's got 10-grade(AAA) tops. Let's see some of those pic's. Good job by the L&M boys to get it to you quickly as well.

Keep in mind guys this is the first run of BFR's. Now that we are starting to ship them It truely is the dealers/distributors job to STOCK these BFR instruments there for giving the end consumer the choice between quilt and flame. If Dealer A) orders 10 JP BFR's he will get a mixture of both flame and quilt and have stock to sell either one depending on the customers likes. There is no way possible(or feasable rather) to produce a choice of flame or quilt have it be a 10+ top and have it built within 6 months. Our back order time would be 12+ if we offered that.

now...back to those pic's...come on Adam, Im excited to check it out :D:D

Ok so I'm going to the HMV thing, I'll be there 9am. Yes I'm getting it signed, but on the backplates, not the actual guitar finish.

The thing plays incredible, but buzzes a bit. I'm sure once I tweak the truss rod it will be great, I just don't remember which way to turn it.

So you guys DO want to see the pictures?

I would prefer quilt myself but I must say that is one gorgeous looking instrument. I would definitely be proud to play that!
:D

P.S.
It's time to change your signature line.

I know, it's a gorgeous top, and I'm getting used to the flame.

The guitar plays pretty much perfectly, I'm really happy!

I just need to tweak the truss rod.. After changing from 10's to 9's, do I tighten or loosen?

And can I get a birthdate please. G34918
