Well guys, the situation that happened has been resolved, and I am very pleased to announce that my new fully-loaded Mystic Dream JP6 is on its way and should be in my hands by November. I can't thank Phil Rich from GC enough for addressing the issue at hand and really delivering top notch customer service. I really believe he went above and beyond to help me out. I love GC's customer service and will continue to spend all my money there! Thanks Phil! And big thanks to EB for making amazing instruments. I've wanted a JP6 for so long, and have never owned a piece of brand new gear in my life, so it will be nice to have my dream guitar be brand new with the warranty and everything. I'll be sure to post pics when its in my hands. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I'm sure looking at all this awesome guitar porn every day won't help my wait! LOL. Now I need to start shopping around for another sweet Mesa Mark IV to go with the beast.

Phatty, I swear that if you saw my stack of GC receipts (since I like to keep all that jazz) you'd probably have a coronary. LOL. I've bought so much gear from them. My friend who works there actually went in to one of the meetings one morning and told the store manager that I was a "staple" to their store. How awesome is that? Haha.

I definitely feel like Norm from Cheers. I seriously know every employee that works there. I go in there sometimes and don't even play any instruments. I'll just go in there to talk to my friend Cait who works the door or any of my other friends that work there. Good times. Phatty, I have a question for you. Is there any thread on here from when the JP model first got introduced? Like a thread that BP started or anything? I looked an couldn't find one, I'm just curious to read it, so if you could post a link if such a thread exists that would be awesome. Thanks.

Mystic Dream makes me so envious...Enjoy your guit-fiddle when it comes and post some crazy pics like mesadualrec and greenwizard have! :)

Oh, and SonicShredder, he just had some sort of mix-up with GC, so he doesn't have to order one, there's probably one that was already being built for that store, and now he'll get it instead...(I think:p)

Not to make you feel bad or anything, but I'll be quite envious if you get your guitar in 2 months. My JP7 took just under 9 months to arrive. (Ordered on July 11th, 2006, received at the store on March 29th, 2007)

Sonic, when I talked to Phil from GC he said that they were ordering their stuff for November, so I'm assuming that some of it has been built already and whatnot. If he said 2 months, I'm sure it'll be around that time frame. Either way the wait (however long it may be) will definitely be worth it.

I don't think so. The oldest threads around here are from 2002...seems like the forum didn't exist yet when the JP was introduced

Damn, I was kinda hoping there was a thread about it. Oh well. I really wanted to read about the development and stuff. I saw the videos from when JP and the crew were making the guitar and they're very interesting. I love reading about stuff like that, after all, knowledge is power :D.
