Hmmm, let's see:

- thought the build was fabulous. "Man, this thing is TIGHT."

- liked the strings a LOT. Not sure what he's been using but I'll get him some Slinkys.

- likes green overall but wasn't entirely convinced by THIS green*.

- will plug it in next visit.

Really, he was sort of in a hurry, but he likes my basses generally.

so how did you come to know chuck?

We met at School of Bass last year in AZ and we hit it off right away. I was surprised to find he lived here in Texas, and we did a lot of talking about the Cowboys (he loves 'em, I hate 'em, heh heh) and Bill Parcells and then family and music and whatever else.

We decided at DFW airport that we should really and truly not lose touch, and we haven't. You guys that were at the Dallas Birthday Bongo Bash probably met him and his wife there.
