Congrats!
Fantastic 20th. It was my first as well and I know exactly how you feel.
Put the drums away and start picking. :)

Thx. ALL... I think FOGMAN said it best..

"That feeling never goes away BTW. It'll happen every time you play it and (I'm guessing) after every other MM you buy!"

Your right Foggy... I'm already looking at other MM's and wondering what will be my next..

I'm thinking grumpyoldman's Dargie Albert Lee looks stunning!

Rookie,
Did you buy it from a dealer in Phoenix? Not many music stores here in Tucson stock MM guitars. It sucks. I really want to try a BFR Petrucci to see how I would deal with the painted neck, but that is a no go in Tucson. Seen any BFRs in Phoenix?

Nice guitar Rookie! If you ever need a bass player to jam with in Phoenix, you can drop me a line and I'll bring a few EB's from the bass family. :)

Whatcha playing your guitars through?

There's a Platinum Guitar Center store in Phoenix on Peoria Ave, they have some BFRs, although I'm not a guitarist so I'm not familiar with which models.

In Tucson I saw some nice EB basses at Rainbow Guitar, but I have no idea what guitars they have.

This 20th was bought from a dealer on the East coast (NJ).

Well, of the 4 or 5 GC's here in valley, only the one in Peoria had any MM's in stock, and those were some standard Petrucci's and a couple of Axis'. I was kinda disappointed that "all" of their stores didn't have MM's in stock. None of the mom and pop's in the East Valley here had any either. I'll keep an eye out for you though. Perhaps EB/CustServ could assist with any BFR's headed our way?

Kristopher, It'd be fun the play with some other EB players here in the Valley.. Thx. for the offer.. Perhaps when things heat up this summer, we could do something "indoors"? I hope to soon be playing through a Lonestar. (to embarrassed to tell you what I'm using now )
