Question So what do YOU think about this Albert Lee?

I'm looking into Albert Lee guitars. There is one on ebay that caught my eye.

It's listed as a BFR Albert Lee HH. In doing my research, I was unable to find any other example of a BFR Albert Lee HH, not even on the MM website. So I called customer service at MM. I was told that the company has never made a BFR Albert Lee. He also said the neck dots were different from that used on Albert Lee BFR guitars. Lastly, the case shown in the ad is a regular MM case; I think the BFR's come w/ premium cases.

I did email the seller for information yesterday but have not heard back from him.

So what do you think?

Wow- nice catch! Ya, that's exactly what that is.

Damn. Most of us would have paid a pretty penny for that one. Hope it finds a loving home.

He must be embarrased about it, I have asked him 2x for tthe serial # and he won't respond with it.

I'm very curious to see what actually happened:confused: and I really hope that someone here grabbed it / made him a deal that he liked. I'm disappointed and kind of relieved at the same time since my wife would have killed me with it when it arrived at the house:eek: It might have been worth it though...;)

According to the folks at MM customer service, this is a regular AL w/ a one off BFR styled neck. In any event, I'd been thinking about buying it for most of the day but alas am not the one who did pull the trigger in time.

Whom ever got it definitely got a great deal! I doubt that he didn't like it. He got it for free (won it) and he probably needed the money. I respect the fact that he didn't ask like $3K for it (which some people would have done). Based on his posts here, he seemed like a really good guy.
