Silo Spec, RW board, matching headstock. Anyone know what colour the knobs will be? will they be gold too?

I'm just waiting for my local dealer to let me know when I can place my order...

So who else is going for one?

Yeah... I'll probably go trem as well... I was cracking my head over what colour to get for a Silo Spec I'd order, then it hit me... WTF??? Why don't I just go for an LE 08??? It's nice!!! and I'm a sucker for gold hardware... whahahaha...

just think: LE08 with white pups... oooh....

I keep thinking i'll change the pickguard on my Dargie Silo Spec and Le 06 Silo Spec, but black just seems to suit, so i'm guessing i'll feel the same when the 08 comes in. Problem with EBMM knobs is that you can't just use aftermarket knobs. The shafts on the pots they use are usually larger than most knobs will take. I ordered ebony knobs from stewart macdonalds for my 20th, and they don't fit...

its funny, when the Le 06 came out, I didnt get one at the time, I didnt like it at all. Took 18 months for me to come around, lucky i was able to still find a new one, i'm not going to make that mistake ever again! I'm also thinking of an ASS for LE 08, but i think a silo spec will do.

No Silo but I do have a fully paid for LE ASS, hardtail MM 90's natural HS coming soon should be here in 6 to 8 weeks

In the LE08 theme, we have on order:
a Silo Special Trem HSS matching headstock
Also, a 5 string Bongo, A JP6 with piezo, and an AL sss trem matching headstock

I'm loving the color...I'm looking forward to seeing Keith's Super Sport, too

Unfortunately, that's true. I probably would have ordered something like a Silo, Silo Spec, AL, or Luke with Piezo.

I don't know. All the standard Allparts knobs and those I got from stewmac don't fit. The shaft is too large...

I doubt it, but you may see them soon if things turn out like last year's LE. I think we started seeing some in March or April IIRC.

Well, I can't wait to see it. There's a picture of a bass with the 2008 LE color scheme on the new beta web site. It appears to have a solid black PG with gold edging. I guess that's how it would look on the Silo too. Man...it looks HOT! I'm not a fan of gold hardware, but this combo just looks too good to pass up. I may have to give some serious consideration to a 2008 LE Silo.....ahhhh the GAS.

It's an interesting colour!

If I end up with one of these, it'll be a Silo Spec with rosewood board and natty stock.
I want to see more of them before I decide anything just yet.
