...We decided to break out some tunes at a small gathering at a friends house.

Usually I would use the double bass bass for this stuff, but it didn't fit in the car.

It's all very messy and tongue in cheek, and bear in mind the level of ale consumption all day that day in the sun. Man I wish it was still summer!

So here is the Bongo, set up for a warm P-bass kind of sound, awesome.

Katy Perry's 'Hot N Cold'

Rusted Root's 'Send me on my Way'

The Clash's 'Rudi Can't Fail'

Men at Work's 'Land Down Under'
...wait, I'm not going to put that video up.

Heheh.

good stuff, Zak, the booze must have played a big part on the timing of it, but it sounds like you all had a good laugh, cool!!

Hey it's not THAT bad! But I felt appalling...I'm not an ale man. We just had a great laugh, and I feel the Bongo was responsible!

It was very good Zak, i like the way the first tune speeds up then slows and speed up again, that's all and as the latins used to say: in vino veritas! ;)

keep it up it was good and the bongo sounded wicked

That was really cool

You guys had a lot of fun and it was fun to watch and listen.

I loved the Kazoo part in 'Hot N Cold' - made me smile and it fit in the setting!!! That is how music should be, fun and improvisational.

Thanks so much for brightening up my day :)

Man, it makes me extremely happy to hear this - that people appreciate our thing and that it makes them happy. We will busk in the street and people seem to really enjoy our approach to music.

Thanks for the kind words, I guess it's just love all round.

Oh, and as for the settings, basically ust focussing on the neck single coil and rolling that treble down - easy! I am completely in love with the warm woody tone that I can get out of the bass.

Awesome. I dug the playing and the sound you get from that Bongo. Lovely sweet growl. Sounds like a keeper... and you guys seem to have a lot of fun, which remains the most important part when playing music!

Yeah the Kazoo'dler is great, he just kinda makes the kazoo 'work'. He carries it everywhere he goes, he literally never leaves the house without it. His name is Euan, so we call him Kazooan.

And about the avatar, it isn't me! I've said this enough times...
