Wow! That had to be a blast for you, Kevin!

What's your new fantasy?
Yup - that was it and I can die happy now.

Camp was in early March, but I just got the photos from them yesterday and that pic cracks me up. Photog caught it at just the right time! :)

That's Gary Hoey on bass - good buddy of mine I'd jammed with before.

Steve does not play with his glove on the right hand.
On the DVD of the last Deep Purple album, he explains the problems he has with his right hand and it's quite frightening.
I hope he feels better. Any news Kevin ?

Asked him after the DP in Munich last week about this because I observed that he´s not wearing the glove anymore too. He said it doesn´t get better. He is not using the glove anymore because he got stuck in the strings with it. He still uses a bandage or cast aroung the wrist and said he has about 10 different casts

Damn good 2nd pick.

Like the pearloid pick guard too

The pick guard material is called something like "Blue Candy Crush".

Dave LaRue started using it on a Bongo of his about 10 years ago. About 5 years ago, Steve used the same material on a Standard Morse while he was having some work done on #1 and I happened to hang with him then and got to see/play that guitar up close then.

Thought it was pretty cool and duplicated that part on a Neptune Blue, where it really shines. Probably the guitar I gig the most with.

The singer in my cover band went to the previous Rock and Roll fantasy camp in February with the guys from Alice in Chains and STP. She loved it.

Great to see Steve not using the brace on his right wrist. Hope that means he's recovering from whatever issues he may have had.

Glenn,

Yup, Gary's originally from the Boston area - lives in Vermont now - and is a SUPER guy! :)
