Well if some of you haven't noticed, I have been watching some of my balls walk out of my life. My wife and I need to get some extra funds for our new house that we hope to close on at the end of the month. I have sold 2 already, and I only have my SR5 Blue Dawn eft to sell.

Don't worry, I still wil have 5 left with a 6th on the way. Anyone elseever have this feeling of loss before?

I feel it right now, but I only have one ball. I might have to sell to pay the mortgage. I am definitely restocking after I graduate college though. Good luck with the house. I already have mine. I always do things in the wrong order.

Yes and no. I've sold most of my personal basses to friends so its not so much as a sale as it is a long time borrow.

I know the feeling all too well....
This year we had an issue with our nanny, and had to get rid of her. And I blew up the Cummins diesel in my truck. Ontop of that we had a baby 3 months ago, so with the wife out of work I had to let a few things go:

a buttercream SR5 HH
a Dargie Delight SR4 HH
a 30th Anniv SR4
a regular SR4
my backup Mesa 400 head
and a rare Guild bass

I still have a fleet of different axes in the closet, a few of them are preEB's, but the only EBMM I'm down to is my beloved 07LE SR4, which will never go anywhere!

John... if i didn't have a hatred for all blue basses (I don't know why) I would probably be talking to you again. JOSH

There are too many "other" things that can be sold (and some for much more), like that second car, tv's, boats, computers, etc. . . that have far less importance than my Musicman guitars.

Although, it might be a lot of fun "reclaiming" them down the road!:)

Yeah, money's tight, there's two balls out there that used to be mine that aren't anymore. I wish I could buy a BFR Sterling but there's no way for awhile now.

No problem, I enjoy the four I got!
