Just thought I'd show off some of my gear.

http://photobucket.com/albums/f156/Progawfer/

In the pics you can see my base model JPEBMM

I play through a 50 watt Mesa Solo 50 (Love it!)

Korg DTR1000 tuner

Furman Power

Boss NS

Morely Bad Horsie

I'm not much of an effects guy. I do need to get a good delay but I'm survivng for now.

Everything runs through Carvin 2x12's

I use a Korg D8 for scratch tracks

Yamaha S03 keyboard

Line 6 Pod PRO for recording

and that's pretty much it.

It's not much but I'm happy with it. I'll post pics of my other stuff later.

Hello Brad

If you have found your sound, that's great ...
I have a lot of gear but I am always trying to find MY sound ...

Yeah I agree, and I think I have found my sound. Unlike a lot of guys I know, I tend to use the Vintage setting on the Mesa vs. the Modern. I try to keep it simple. When I found MY sound, it happened from unpluggin half of the stuff I had in the signal chain. that helped a lot! :D

Thanks for looking

nice setup you have there.
how is the mesa solo head like?
ever compared to a dual recto?

I never really compared it to a Dual Recto. I had a Peavy 5150 and could never get it to sound right. I bought a POD PRO and a power amp and started using a "robot rack", then I bought the Mesa and basically used it only for the crunch tone on Modern setting. One day I unplugged most of the effects pedals I had (I rearranged my pratice room) and just plugged straight into the head from the NS-2 and there was my tone. I still want a delay pedal (I have a DOD at the moment but don't use it). I'm really happy with the head on the vintage setting for leads, though it does sacrifice something on the crunch tones.
