Some S.U.B. Questions

Hi All -

I'm new here and new to EBMM basses. I've got a 2003 S.U.B. 4 on the way.

I have a couple of questions for all you S.U.B. experts. What's the difference between the S.U.B. and the S.U.B. Sterling? Also, will a Stingray aftermarket pickguard fit the S.U.B.?

The SUB is modeled after the StingRay and the SUB Sterling modeled after the Sterling. The later will have the smaller neck and body like regular Sterlings and also has the 3-band active EQ. The regular SUBs were available in both passive and active 2-band EQs. Only the SR4 pickguards will fit the SUB4s. Welcome!
