I was lucky enough to play a 25th at this years LIMS (for a whole 2minutes in the middle of a drum demo and couldn't hear a thing...) but loved the look and feel, shame I couldn't get to hear it....

I've been toying with the idea of getting one, and had flu last week which gave me time to consider my options, I need a 'semi' to complete my collection (now under serious threat...)

So I thought why not..... life is short if for some reason go off it i can always sell it on... (But judging by the reviews nobody has a bad word to say so what the hell....)

Then this came out....
BBC NEWS | Business | Fujitsu cuts final salary pension

Then this.....

BBC NEWS | Business | Fujitsu unit to cut 1,200 UK jobs

THEN THIS!
BBC NEWS | UK | Scotland | Highlands and Islands | Assurances sought on IT jobs

I tell you somebody out there has got it in for old smelly, I'm not moaning there's folks out there with more problems than me and it's only been the last 12 years of my life, but consider this a valuable lesson to you all who have stopped and thought about it, don't be like me - live for the moment and buy a 25th!

smelly - on his ass.

Those news articles bring shivers to my spine. This kind of thing is happening all over and it's scary, scary, scary. Let's hope you don't get the Fujitsu banhammer.

I'm sorry for you Smelly. I've heard this coming (I worked at Fujitsu here in the Netherlands). I really hope things work out for you.

Not to mention, the electric, water, sewer, roll trash, property taxes, gasoline, food, water to drink, medicare, copays for medicine, spirits to lift the spirit, cable and internet and telephone. Sheesh.

Mike, I feel for you brother and certainly can understand your situation. Hang in there and maybe the 25th will be in your future soon. It's just wishful thinking for me.

Smelly...look at it this way....I'm a lefty...I could be sitting on a million dollars as we speak..and I still couldn't get a 25th...it could be worse. :D

I feel for your situation though...I was hit by something similar late last year. Just gotta keep going forward.

Sucks for sure. I was all set on getting a 25th myself -- even priced one from Pete -- but a few weeks of layoffs (um, I mean furloughs) and my wife's work drying up and now I'm just hoping I can hang on and get through this without having to give up my Axis.

Here's hoping things look up, and we can both score a 25th at some point.

Smelly I guess the situation is hard for most of us. Since june I have been excluded without salary for 7 weeks, faced 2 final interviews reintegrated (they paid back the salaries) then since monday again excluded and will have what will be I hope my final interview by mid september :D. I have never been so eager to be fired (first time it happen to me by the way)

After dedicating 10 years of my life for this company it's a bit harsh but i have learned my lesson :p

Next company will be mine :D, crisis situation is always good to help you moving forward. I hope I will not have to sell my balls to pay for lawyer but this is life. I really wanted a 25th but this will wait until my situation will be stabilised.

Now I have time to work on my new project, wish me luck for the future ;)

Hope you can can through all this Smelly (FYI my company is also a big Japanese corporate)
