I listened to the clips, and they were very impressive even through computer speakers. I can only imagine what the amp sounds like first hand. A very modded Marshall-like sound. I can hear what you're saying about the versatility of the amps. Everything from early EVH to great clean and SRV tones. How hard are they on the wallet?

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the Splawn? I've got a birthday coming up in January and the clips I hear are great. I love that VH tone but the QR sounds like it can do more.

the head was 1750 and the cab was 700..

it can definetly do more than VH =) first gear would be more VH and AC/DC..the you still have second and third gears, OD1 and OD2 and the solo boost =)

actually cheaper than most marshalls...lol...1750 for the head
