It was a wonderfull guitar
i've noticed that the natural headstock wasn't varnished (satin finish) like my egytian smoke

it's not a problem but i was just curious

if someone have noticed the same

yep my luke has this wierd varnish on it too.

and it's preaty nice that way

If it's a non-matching headstock then they aren't normally varnished - my Luke is the same.

non matching headstocks dont need as much of a protective finish on them so there is no need to put a thick finish

All non-matching headstocks are coated in that satin type finish.
