Tone wise - it has great presence and growl on the low end and to my ears - greater clarity above the 12th fret.

Eggy, that is dead on. I love the tone on these... didn't think the sonics would be that different but they are. Imagine the growl on a single H. I love mine and have gotten tons of compliments about its sound (above 12 it is soooooooooooooo clear).

I’m trying to get Egg the pics…. I have my photo team pissed at me cuz they are trying to get photo and video of the new Sterling line and EBMM 25ths that we just received up and I’m telling them that that is not important….. we have a Bongo RWBFR to get on the forum!

sorry for being off topic, but can you elaborate on this??

Wow!

That is sooo gorgeous. If I had the funds, I would have chosen true gold or olive gold in a single H Bongo with the rosewood neck. And the pics are amazing. Congrats.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Got it to its first rehearsal last night. The neck felt great - smooth, fast - love the wood. Tone wise - crisp, clear - perfect. A keeper (I know with my turnover rate many will scoff - but it is staying and I am going to love it long time!)

As a side note: installed EBMM straplocks on all 5 Bongos. Great devices - I highly recommend them.

Eggy out.
