Bet it sounds ace.
I do love the DiMarzio Area pickups; have an Area '61 (DP416) in my Sub, and the cleans are really nice.
Any further mods planned?

Great job with the mods, the guitar looks killer. I love the amp in surf green, and the Stangray is a monster tone machine.

That's one very clean job from your luthier! What also impressed me is the counter sunk holes (I believe thats the term) on the body where the pickguard screws go. Talk about attention to detail by MM, especially where its not even seen by the customer. I have not seen that before from a manufacturer, I'm sure some do it but damn that impressed me.
