Yeah we had a thread about that a few days ago and decided it was modded beyond repair Well i did anyway

I think they extended the bridge pickup route on an H/H model, in that case you could easily buy a new pickguard and move the pickup back to it's original position. the only issue would be a pickup sized amount of wood missing under the pickguard and I don't think it would affect the tone at all. but I think it should go for about $300 less than the asking price.

Nah I think you're wrong, they did extend the route but look at the space between the bottom of the pickguard and the top of the bridge. If you were to put the pickup back where it was and put on an original guard there'd be a huge hole between the bridge and the guard.
