Plus, if I'd been thinking about attire to set off the new bass, I would have chosen something that would contrast more with the graphite pearl.

Ahh yes, I see that now. My bad.

But I'm like a Boy Scout. Well, except for the high moral standards and stuff.

Yeah, that plus I probably owe you more in sales commissions once this next batch comes rolling out of SLO, speaking of which, should I be hiding out from Tony M yet or what???? Does he own any firearms that you are aware of??

You're credit's good with me Jacko....just send me an updated spreadsheet so I know what the heck we have on order.

Oh, and there are other duties....you don't want to know about those.

He also endures late night telephone calls from me, that in itself is worth 3 Bongos alone.

Don't believe me??? PM me your number.

Every now and then, used basses pop up here so keep an eye out

Yes, they do but the problem is they get sent to me on trade-in and I just don't like to part with them once I get them in.

<---really digging this White SR4, two-band with matching headstock.

This is a nice one James (Jack & Ben too). I think I may just keep this one around a while...I sold my Dingwall Super J and the autographed Bongo HH is tucked back under my bed so your SR4 is my new daily player.

Did you have to readjust the action at all? I kept it low for personal taste.

Wow! It's a thing you don't expect once in a lifetime, but right now for Jack is two time! As we said in french : Jamais deux sans trois.

I think you earned it well for all the good words on the forum.

It's wonderful BP, nice gesture!

P.S. to myself: dream of a bongo waiting next to my door after work. :)

People don't get it at a lot of places... until they try one. I have been a huge sales aid at GC Cincy (the fact that I have picture of the triplets hanging in my classroom has even sold one too  ). The the reaction is almost always the same:
Step 1: customer sees Bongo, shakes head in disgust, heads for Fndr wall.
Step 2: I take down Bongo and start noodling
Step 3: customer starts looking over shoulder... followed shortly by a"what the hell's that?"
Step 4: Bongo story told... followed by handing over the Bongo to customer
Step 5: 99% of the time it is met with the phrase "Holy Sh!T!!!!!!!!"

You just have to hear them and play them for it to make sense (the fun comes when I explain the single H and invite some out to try Kermit live :D )

I know BP isn't looking for the pub here, but you'll soon learn that there are VERY few in the buisness that support their community the way that BP and EBMM does. This gesture, the Open House ("OH MY" is all I can say there), how much the ENTIRE EBMM staff hangs out and chats with us on the forum, the customer service... I have yet to find this with any other company (to this level - Big Groove over at GK rocks though!).

Well, I have been spreading the Bongo gospel over at Harmony Central...

I'm the first or second guy there to buy one.

Not too many in the Bay Area get it, either.

No offense to my EBF Bay Area brothers.

Oddjob: I know, it blows me off everyday how much BP and his staff provide so much support! It's the reason I bought my SR5 and everyday I enjoy it more.
