Songs you cannot stand

"Ruby, Spare an agony on me...he's got depression, excessive misery. If it weren't

for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all, Ruby spare an agony on me.":(

No, not that one!

I may be a dinosaur in posting this but grumpyoldman might catch a hint of

"Mandy" by Mister Big Nose

or

That "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" from that Coca Cola commercial over thirty years ago...

Then this may start a couple earworms: "Jesus Loves The Little Children" ;)

I'm only familiar with the Hee-Haw parody of that song, "Rue, Dispair and Agony on me". :D

I hate the song.....

Hey,

Most of those songs suxx.....I really really dislike them....

But.......are we allowed to say we like some of these songs?

I looked through the thread a little, and some songs are ONES I LIKE!

(am I kicked out now?.....)

Christmas Shoes - I'm sure he had good intentions with it, but c'mon a song about a kid trying to buy shoes for his dying mom at christmas and then mom dies anyway!?!?! Way to spread christmas cheer!! An obvious attempt to deliberately pull at our heartstrings. I just want to hear about Rudolph and jingle bells!! No offense, but the thread asked!!

I was a daytime bartender at a holiday inn back when......an these two chicks came in and kept playing this one song on the jukebox over and over and over and over and over and over and over.......

Here's a nice little earworm for ya. You can thank me later.

Click on the link at your peril. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

YouTube - Sheena Easton - 9 to 5 (Morning Train)

Sheena Easton, "9 to 5"

MY baby takes the morning TRAIN
HE works from nine to five and THEN
HE takes another home aGAIN
TO FIND ME WAITING FOR HIM

Then repeat, in an even more annoying key.

Has anyone heard this hideous waste of tape called "Alfie" by Lily Allen?

It gave me severe intestinal trauma!

R

P.S. There's a video as well. UGH!

Anything by Matchbox 20, or Third Eye Blind....simply unlistenable.

 I'm a fan of Matchbox 20 and Third Eye Blind. Rob Thomas is one of my singing influences.

Haven't listened to TEB in a while but the new Matchbox 20 stuff is great.

I also like rap. If it's got Ludacris in it, i'm pretty sure i'll listen to it.

I can't stand listening to Victor Wooten solo. It makes me want to smash my head into a cement wall.

Or a brick one.

Whichever one is more convincing.
