I will be sure to post pics once this thing hits the ground...

Last fall, I ran into some financial strains and had to let go of my LIII. After owning well over a hundred guitars in 24 years of playing, that thing just had it all. Amazingly comfortable all rosewood neck, versatile pickups, tuning stability for days without a Floyd... it was the Swiss Army knife of guitars to me. You who own them know that there's some really special about the Lukes. I still have some nice pieces kicking around but I've had the itch to get my hands on another one, so... I made a few moves and made this one happen. Can't wait for that V profile to wrap my mitts around!

Stay tuned...

This rosewood "soft V profiled" neck is just so unique...

Hope it won't be too long before you can once again experience a fabulous Luke III!

Once you played an EBMM you don't wanna play anything else
I remember how i sold my JP Pearl Redburst for a PRS a couple of Years ago.
Now I'm glad I went to Musikmesse in '12 and got my JP7. And the other 2 JPs... And the new one I'm about to order.

I don't have any doubt. This one will be a bit different as it's a regular Luke model with EMG's and a maple neck. The DiMarzio's in the LIII were awesome but I like EMG's so I'm not worried.

My LII is my fav by far, even if the Y2D and the JP7 are incredible. Maybe because it's my first Ebmm... maybe ^^.

Congrats on your Luke.
