So ive been messing with GarageBand on my new iBook. I was gonna gonna give it a test recording with one of my punk/metal songs then I realized I had the amp emulation thing set to Modern Nashville (or something like that). So anyways I improved something blues-ish and random to match the amp emulation. The result is this embarassing mp3 with some generic blues and bad solos (im a punk bassist ... so blues guitar isnt my thing ;))

I'm trying to get the drum looping stuff down before I record an actual song of mine but in the mean time I plan on doing a few guitar only recordings of the JP6 vs a Les Paul vs a PRS. I'll post those clips when I get 'em done.

ps: I recorded using the JP6's middle pup setting.

no piezo, no amp - straight into the computer

chain looks like this:
JP6 w/ middle PUP setting -> M-Audio Solo Firewire Interface -> Apple iBook -> GarageBand software with "Modern Nashville" amp setting

Top Bottom
