Dear forum members:

I am afraid that I am in a position where I am going to have to try and sell some of my guitars. I have 2 that might interest some of you here.

The first is my Honeyburst Axis. It has a D-tuna, a push/pull coil split and a chrome dome knob installed (the original parts will be included as part of the sale). It also has a beautiful beautiful top as well. There are two little nicks in the headstock as evidenced in the photos. Price for forum members (with a good number of posts, please) will be $1,100 which includes shipping to the lower 48.

The second is my JP, and I don't know if anyone here will want it for the price I am asking. It is custom painted as you can see, and glows in the dark. It also has glow in the dark fret markers on the side and has a gorgeous birdseye neck. The paint job was done by Herc Fede. (http://fededesigns.com) To see this one leave, I will want $2550 (shipping included). I will ask for more on ebay for this one.

I'm not happy about losing either, but my wife wants a new kitchen! Both guitars include either an EBMM hardshell case (old style) or an EBMM gig bag, your choice. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at:

Thanks for looking!

Greg, email Paul Warren and have him email JP. Can't hurt to offer it to him. If I remember right from the online thing that JP did he thought it was pretty cool!!!

I like the Axis better

Yah but you like that trans color stuff Jon. If it didn't have the matching headstock, I might have had a talk with the wife. Though I know I would have lost that battle.

Hahahahahahahahaha.

Jon, not to steal the thread, but what's the coolest paint job you've ever seen that came out of MM??????????????

Will you sell the JP to Petrucci for the 'forum member' price? ;)

It would be really cool if JP would buy it. He could give it to his boy if he didn't like it. If Paul Warren can't get a hold of JP (which I'm sure he can), then I think there's a teeny possibility that BP knows how to reach him. :D

A. Herc still paints

B. Darren Wilson, not Herc, did Vai's guitars, and he doesn't swirl anymore as of late

C. I have a guitar done by Herc, and I would probably ask that much for it, too, but no time soon

A. He does? I heard he was having some terrible health problems - that combined with his website being gone for years - and info I saw on another website - I thought he was done - do you have a way to email him or a link to a new website?

B. I was told Herc did the first swirls for Ibanez by a rep back in the 90s - I suppose I could have been lied to.

C. The workmanship is superior. The finish coat is by far the most professional aftermarket job I've ever seen. Period. The guy truly is an artist.

That was my first thought as well.
Maybe BP could relay the message?
