There were a number of new colours introduced a few months ago. That one is Olive gold I believe. They're not been marketed as "sparkle", and in some pics you don't get quite the same effect.

But that looks so cool. Classy yet ostentatious.

Nope not sparkles thats the new olive gold cool color all the finishes with some sort of flake in them can look like sparkle depending on lighting and camera, i bought a sapphire black Silo bass from Pete and if I take a picture indoors under artificial lights it looks like a sparkle, outdoors not so much, nice axe though, that color is really growing on me:)

That is such a great color. It's definitely my favorite of the new 8.

Get the all-rosweood neck and do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it

:D

Hmm...possibly. The thing that will determine me going for the rosewood neck is whether or not I can come up with the deposit in time.

Does anyone have a pic of this guitar color where it doesn't look like the older sparkle guitars? The flake is so pronounced in those shots! You're right about the angle and lighting though. I've owned a few sparkles and it makes a huge difference. That dealer has a few others on eBay that seem to have more flake to them than normal.

That dealer seems to be good at - how shall I say it - over glamming up photos of guitars. I saw a purple BFR Luke they had on ebay where the contrast on the body was photoshopped up so high it looked neon!

They seem to be using the lighting to good advantage, but it doesn't look like anything deceptive is going on.

Yeh that Purple Luke is very much over photoshopped.
Olive Gold just seems to have a crap load more metal flake to it though

What a great color. This is off topic but why is there no option for a white Super Sport? Have there ever been white ones?
