Bruce that silo is SWEET!!! black pearloid pickguards are a great option. maybe thats a good one for my DD silo?

This one shows the dramatic effect of light, on these finishes.

It's too bad there were some technical issues with these finishes. I've seen sparkles before and never liked them. EB made it art. I don't mean fancy-design finishes (flames and such), just great balance of colors, and depth.

That really is a beautifull Silo indeed! I really love Black Pearloid PGs as well, and they look 1000000 times better in person than in pictures. However I have grown REAL fond of White Pearloid, and I think that would look amazing with that Autumn Burst color. I think this is really my favourite Sparkle finish and I wish I could have one w/ rosewood board.

comes with good ol black, but that aint gonna last long i tell ya! unless i black is surprisingly good or i cant be stuffed changing it, which could be likely.

Thanks! When push comes to shove, I'd choose the rosewood board too. (unless I was playing the maple ) White pearloid doesn't do it for me. Just sold one, in fact.

Whatever floats da boat. I think black pearl would probably look great on your DD. If I was getting one, I'd leave it stock, at least for awhile. The black pearl just might detract from the martini olive finish. The over all look is what matters to me, and the simpler black pg might just do the trick.
