When the Group 1 factory tour was winding down, we exited through the shipping area, which was just FULL of guitars ready to ship...

Pic 1 of shipping area

Somehow one of the boxes caught the corner of my eye as I walked past. I stopped dead in my tracks, doubled back to check the box, and sure enough - it had my store's name on it :D

Ready to ship!

This guitar was ordered by kbaim, and since he happened to be at the Open House....

I found Beth and asked her if it would be possible for me to pick up the guitar and hand it over to kbaim. She referred me to Aziah, to whom I recited the story. She said she would see what she could do. About 15 minutes later, Beth came up to me and says "It's all set, you can pick it up."

So, after the Sterling/Dudley Q&A was over, Sterling joined Keith and I in the shipping area for the handing over of his new Luke.

Wayyyy too cool, thanks

It's easy to love the EBMM group.

I have often fantasized about Derek's job....hmm, right up my alley, you know?

Then I watched Derek Saturday night and thought, "That guy deserves a raise."

A lot of people worked hard and it showed in the results, but I was actually watching Derek work, and he was like that proverbial one-legged guy in the a$$-kicking contest.

Who loves you, Derek?
We all do, that's who.

My special thanks

I would also like to send out some thank yous.

First and foremost to the man (Big Poppa) for giving me the opportunity to plan such an amazing event. Thank you for blindly believing in me.

Scott, thank you for always pointing me in the right direction.

Aziah, thank you for being my right hand women, when I couldn't be there, you were. I cant thank you enough.

Derek, you helped me tremendously with the artists, I think they had a great time.

Ryan McClain, I have never met a more hard working, understanding, and brilliant man in my life. Thank you for eveything!

Dan Norton, you always think of the things no one else does, you are absolutely amazing.

Also, Linda, thank you for taking the ladies (and men) to Hearst Castle, Megan, thank you for putting up with all my invoices and reciepts and Aaron, thank you for always fixing my computer when I couldnt! (I couldnt live without my email)

A VERY large thank you to all the factory workers that came in on their day off to show all the forumites how the factory actually operates. And, a big shout out to the shipping department who always gave me that extra hand I needed.

I had a wonderful time and I truley appreciate Ernie Ball for allowing me to help them with this event and I also want to thank all of you...the forumites...for being so supportive, excited, and easy to get ahold of (hahaha) the past 4 months.
Oh also, I want to thank Jack AKA bovinehost for helping me with the forum awards among all other things YOU ROCK! I hope it will not be the last time we all get together.

Blair, absolutely and positively a pleasure and an honor on my part. You guys did the hard stuff and let me handle just a bit of the fun. What's not to enjoy?

You, my good lady, did one hell of a job.

And whenever it might be, rest assured that this wasn't my last trip to San Luis Obispo to see you all.

Hah! I was in the middle of actually LOSING my voice! I can barely talk now.

Tony Levin to Bovine: "What a voice. Are you a singer?"

Jack to self: "Not anymore."

I second that 100%!!!! Derek was just awesome with everything he went through this weekend and all the hard work he put in!

Ryan never ceases to amaze me with all of his knowledge and hard work, one of the best people I've had a chance to work with.

And I can't thank Dan Norton enough for his help and hard work and ideas. Simply amazing.

I want to thank the two ladies who planned this event and made it possible, Blair & Aziah (Aziah's my right hand woman, and I couldn't possible do my job without her, she is truly the best!)

I would also like to deeply thank Tomas, Derek, Ryan, Dan, Bill, Dudley, Drew, and Jon Watkins for all the help they lent us. Without these people this event wouldn't have been nearly as successful. I would also like to thank Tom and every other employee for making the factory look perfect.

Regardless of the fact that he tries to proclaim Dargin's Delight as a Big Poopa spritzer, Sterling Ball deserves all the accolades for the direction of the company.

Scott baby!

We sure missed you on Saturday. I know you played a role in the Bongo Of Death.

I've been trying all day to think of what to say to you and Sterling.

You guys are something else, Dargin.
