Annual trip to Memphis & Nashville. Normally fly, but I'd like to drive this year. It's been 10 years since I've driven down this coast. Gone up and down the west coast several times since then. I'd like to see whats new over here.

hello guys - just having a dark rum/coke and some leftovers.

Place looks clean enough - thanks to everybody who popped in - some "old faces" too - Ivan & Travs "Come back soon".

No snow over here - one of the warmest Xmas's we've had.

I'll get cracking on working out the winners over the next couple of daze!!

Cheers for that Kev.

So here's another entry for the Drummer bass compo

I had to have the garage door repaired. My bass player and drummer (who are inseparable) told me that one of my problems was that I did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener. I thought for a moment, and said that I had the largest one made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower. they shook their heads (not in time together!) and said, 'Spud , you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4 and they said, 'NOOO, it's not. Four is larger than two..'

Time to get a new rhythm section meethinks!!

another time I was walking with the bass player

The traffic light on my corner buzzes when it's on red and safe for us to cross the road. Bass player pipes up and asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, he responded, 'What on earth are blind people doing driving?!'

hehe..

spud had 3 entries, fsmith 1 entry and myself had one..
cant give the prize to myself so i guess its a set of regular slinky bass-strings for spud and a stringwinder for fsmith..

unless they want it the opposite way??

Wow, thanks! That works for me, the stringwinder sounds great. Changing strings on my Ovation 12-string acoustic is a chore!

Kev, whenever you figure out who won what let me know and I'll get them out ASAP.
