Great looking Axis man!

The switch is pretty generic, you'll have to solder the wires off the old one and then onto this switch. But it's pretty easy. You'll have a wire from each pickup and one going to the volume control.

Just make sure not to overhead the wires when you're soldering (don't hold the iron there forever). Don't want to pass too much heat onto the pickups.

I had work buy me a KILLER weller pro solder station for $300 I told them i needed it for work??I'm a locksmith for a living but EVERYTHING is moving to electronics so they bought it! I'm pretty handy at soldering just hard to get to those pots easily but I'll manage,i just changed out a volume on one axis to a push/pull for coil tapping, very cool single coil tones ,now i gotta' change out my other 12 axii?(is that a plural ?)

The original EVH had a small PCB under the switch, but every one that I have swapped out came without the PCB, and you soldered onto the switch itself.

all 13 of my axii have the 3 way switch on a pcb?Not sure they changed for a while? It looks pretty simplistic I managed to change pickups in all my pet's and they use a pc board with a 16th inch little solder point those are tricky but i'll hopefully manage!still not sure how that got damaged when the trem arm was on?thet usually takes the hit!

Way back when I had my Cherry Burst Axis I broke the switch, CS shipped me one with PCB.
