I am sending it UPS which will include insurance but I should have mentioned that. I am not too confident about the box it arrived in. There is just no room for extra packing but I guess it is OK if MM sends them out that way?????
Lisa ~ If you have a bike shop in the neighborhood, see if they'll give you one of their bike boxes; the ones that their unassembled bikes come in.

If they have it, ask for one that an adult 14-16" bike was shipped in; should be plenty of room for a case and extra packing material. Not to mention, they're durable!

My thoughts exactly, Tom! I'm married with a kid. I don't give a damn what color my basses are.

Doesnt that guy who plays with ashley simpson have a pink Sterling? I know he has that killer looking baby blue one, but I thinks he has a pink one too. I would so rock a pink sparkle MM

Shamus, thanks for the tip. The bass didn't meet reserve so now I have a week to find another box so I can double box it. I have revamped my description and have the auction ending on Sunday instead of Saturday so I am hopeful.

Ashley Simpson .... I bet that is just a gig to that bass player. There is no way he is into her and her music but then again I can't actually name any song she sings so maybe I am being unfair.

BP do you know if this cat indeed has a pink Sterling?

If I happen to go by there, i'll snap a few pictures. Although that might be difficult due to the fact that they have the worst customer service around. Only place that carries EB instruments though. I try to stay out of there though.

Thanks BP! I bet that is one cool bass. I guess the artists can ask for custom guitars. Awesome!

Shamus, You would be proud of me. I went to a bike shop and got a big box today. Thanks again for the tip.

Yeah, it is a bubble gum pink Sterling.

He is a great guy, who was a founding member of Newport Beach's own, Saosin. Good band, popular in the punk crowd...They headlined our Battle of the Bands showcase last December.

That Pink bass was always featured in rehearsals during her reality show on MTV. He got a baby blue one too...

Thanks for the info.

Ashlee had a reality show too? Or was it her sister's? I wish I would have caught them showing that bass.
