I know this is a long shot, but will there be any sound samples posted prior to NAMM, or do we just have to wait?

In my opinion. sound samples of a particular bass really don't give a true to life sound of the instrument, with the exception of BP giving a demo of the Bongo harmonic capabilities.
I've heard alot of great playing from some of the forumites here playing their bongo's etc.
For example When I have listened bassmonkee play his Bongo at GC, he gets a different tone than I get with the same settings. And he always sounds great.
Maybe I'm nuts, but I guess this is the business I signed up for.

It is true, but sound clips do cause the salivary glands to start pumping.
