I voted for 'other' b/c the ones you specified are either white or black. Since the SR5 has a huge PG that hides so much of the body, it seems a giant white "blank page" or a giant "black hole" are not great choices.

I'm thinking on a SR5, you should be able to get a headstock panel to match to your PG, rather than the paint-match-headstock option, b/c the PG is the dominant visual theme of the body. Everyone pokes fun at the Bongo but no one pokes fun at the PG on the SR5. To my eye, both are about equally visually bizarre.

Unlike us Bongotoids, SR5ers can at least do something to personalize the eyesore, a lesser of weavils at it were. If I had a honeyburst SR5 I'd look for a tort PG in the old "tortise shell" tones of yellowish browns and black, like the old "horned rim glasses" [rather than the reddish torty].

Well, it looks like I'm gonna end up with a burnt apple SR5, thanks to Moondog. It looks nice in the pictures! He has a white pearloid PG on it & I'm anxious to get it. My black SR4 is heading his way.

Looking forward to your SR4 Bill . . . and another house arrest.
This is my 2nd forum trade this month :) and it's resulting in
a very nice StingRay4 collection for me.

Burnt Apple is difficult to photograph - the finish is much better
in person. And white pearloid is far superior to black, white, or
tort on this finish.

Looks great with tort, but I voted for White Pearloid. Maybe it's some kind of obsession - all three of my basses and one strap have it. Or a weakness.
