SR5 sighting!!!

Last night on DWTS...

Nothing spectacular, but I thought it was cool that it wasn't the same bass you see on every other TV show.

I really love that song! Long time ago.... But did he forget how to sing? .......
You have to sing IN the mic to be heard or sing harder. So many drop offs in volume.

And I really hate that dancing stuff. Isnt the music enough?

Yes the music would be enough however the show is called "Dancing with the stars"

I always liked Hall & Oats. Never really liked that song but with the groove slowed like that and the slightly updated drum part it was almost palatable.
The SR5 sounded fat punchy and great!!!
Hall sounded tired and "pitchy"
I don't recognize Oats without the 'stache.

And when thay ran out of A-stars, they continued the show with b celebs etc...

The version of the show here started out with C level stars (if you can call them stars) but as the show gains in popularity they are drawing more famous contestants.
Fortunately my wife doesn't watch this show till it gets almost to the end so I am not subjected to it every week.

The finish on my bass is not medalion gold. I put it up on the "What colour is this?" thread a couple weeks ago and was informed that it is a rare finish that they only put on about 5 instuments. Apparently it does not have a name. There is a nice close up photo on that thread.
