Hello guys!

I'm a newbie in the forum, dec 2004, and haven't yet properly introduced myself, so I thought I'd use this oportunity to do so :)

I'm 27years old, live in Oslo-Norway and have been playing in various local bands for about 10years now. I mostly play rock, often mixed with funk or jazz, and recently also electronica (with LIVE bassguitarplaying of course ;) ). Bought my first EBMM instrument last december and haven't played much on my other basses since then. .
REaaly loves the sound and feel of it, it's an SR5 with a natural finish :D

The question;

I'm living in a small apartment with not much space left, and a friend of mine suggested I'd hang my basses on the wall on "guitarhangers" to save space.
I'm a bit sceptical to do this even though I see guitarshops do it. I've asked several guitarsellers and they all give different ansvers.

Can this be harmful to the instrument in any way?

All help and visdom higly appreciated :)

Thanks, hansmarius.

Thats what I keep both my Stingray and MIA P-bass on. Very efficient. No harm that I know of. In fact, I'd think that it would help protect the neck from moving.

of mine have been hanging for almost 10 years. Still
play & sound great

I believe the only issue might be someone removing it from the hanger that wasn't supposed to.

I don't believe it would be at all harmful to your bass.

Man what the hell is that avitar? :) I dig it... kinda looks like a gel cap.

Since I can't make a living slapping my basses, I manufacture generic pharmaceuticals to pay the bills & buy more EBMM basses. I thought
the avitar was fitting, a drunken capsule-man (reminds me of me).
