SR5 toggle switch settings

i have a stingray 5 3band...with the switch
i am not sure what is the correct setting for this
i have been using the parallel since i got it...

just interested in a concensus of who used what and when

i know the series should be a bit louder but how does it affect tone...

Ummmm. I get them confused but it's not really volume. One is brighter than the other.

Hey. same here then. I usually use Parallel, and sometime single coil. I still like the option of having series if I want it. Oh, and mine is a Sterling, not an SR5, but same difference.

I actually use series most of the time -- the D and G string are a little fuller. Works well with bass boosted a little and mids cut just a bit. A great full-range sound. Parallel's a bit rootsier on the bottom and zingier on the top, and single-coil w/ the mids boosted is great for finger-funk tone.

thanks..i have been using mainly parallel and find the bass cleaner although sometimes i need a softer dub sound playing up the neck and series seems to be ok for that
single coil can be fun
