Hi all!!!
I have a question regarding the truss rod adjusment.
I live in puerto rico, tropical island, very humid and very drastic humid changes.
AS per Ernie Ball factory, they design the truss rod wheel to quicly adjust the neck. Some times, I tune the bass, and take it to the gig, then there I have to make adjustments.
I am turning the wheel, 1/4 or less to compensate for concave (action very high for my taste) or convex (buzzing a lot so the neck need relief)
Anybody can explain me the correct way to deal with this SR5? The bass was built in the beginning 2004, so the neck is not finished, and the sealed the neck with the superglue and acetone thing!!
I do not detune the strings, so I making the adjustments with the bass tune (440)
am I damaging the truss rod or something to the bass at the long term?
Thanks
DV
