With the compensated nut, is there any problem with stringing an SR5 E to C?

I generally tune my fivers with a high C and forego the 34" thumb rest.

My sr5 doesn't have a compensated nut, but I haven't had any problems. Mine was tuned like that for a while, and I really liked it. I either need a second fiver that I can keep tuned like that, or a sixer!

Thanks for the info. Now I'll have to try out the SR5 to see if it's for me. Is there a rumor of a Sterling 5 coming out sometime or was I just dreaming about this?
