Hi guys,

I got the email that my Steath HH is arriving on Thursday. I'm just silly excited. :D I couldn't help but share.

Hey Guys,

I've been sorta lurking. Didn't have an EBMM quite yet. Of course, when BP is in my neck of the woods, guess what? I'm on frak-ing call.

Should I have any concerns about what happens during the 4 days of ground shipping in the heat of August? Is the neck gonna be all out-of-whack?

What part of the country is it coming from? Similar temperate zone? Mine ship out from the dry, hot desert to all parts of the country and I find that the most anybody really needs to do to them when they get them is max 1/4 turn tweak on the truss rod wheel.

Give it a day or two to adjust before you tweak it.

It's coming from Florida to Maryland. I guess from extremely warm and humid to very warm and humid.

Thanks for the pointer on the waiting a day or two. I would have jumped the gun, no doubt.

You should be pretty much good to go then. Probably pretty similar temps and humidity levels this time of year. I find that necks don't generally go out of whack due to extreme climactic conditions(Hot/Cold/Humid/Dry) in and of themselves but it's more extreme changes in conditions.

Ha ha ha! Toga, toga, toga!

On a more serious note, I'm gonna contribute a new video to OVRDRVN.COM to complement the bass string changing.

How to adjust a truss rod while under the influence of nitrous oxide.

LOL...you're showing your age Doc...those were quite the rage in 1979/80. I was always too lazy to make a proper toga and just went to them with one of those cheap ass white dorm towels wrapped around my waist.

Halloween parties were even easier...all I did was get one of those "Hello my name is" stickers and write on it...

This is my costume. I came as an a#*hole.

Gassie why are we talkin about nitroeus when we can talk about versid (sp?) I just had oral surgery....

Now that was what they gave me when I had all those MRI's last year (I'm a tube chicken) and that stuff rocks with very little after affects.. This new dentist I'm starting with for all that oral sugery doesn't use it and I'm kinda bummed but he will dope me up on Valium so that's always worked for me too.

Good luck with that Dude....

Oh, you're such a TEASE! Wow, that's a nice one. Funny how the 5-string H looks so different from the 4HH that's coming, what, no way, TOMORROW!!! I guess I have to inactivate the stealth mode to take pics.

How does the rule go? No pix = no bass?

BP, Dude - ah, you like it, eh? Yeah, from what I hear, that Versed does really rock. I give it like water and people get all happy on me. Then they say really silly untrue things like I look lke Brad Pitt or I'm a really good bass player. Next time you need "happy juice" please let me know cause then I can ask you guys for your whole bass inventory and you'll probably say "Sure, no problem, man."

BTW, valium (diazepam) is a cousin of versed (midazolam). Versed is usually IV and hits faster and harder but goes away quicker.
