Hey- thanks fellas! This was really a pleasure to do- my buddy got such enjoyment out of it.

He cut through way better last night in band practice- no surprise, but the Sil Spec just killed his old Strat tone. I played my 20th and the two together sounded fantastic!

Great work and a great story! :cool:
What rewiring did you do?
Dave- nothing big. There was a lose solder joint on the switch and I tuned the silent circuit slightly.

+1000. Beej, when you told me what you were planning on doing I thought that it was a very COOL move on your part. We don't just have the best forum. I think we've got the best forum members, as well. I'm glad it all worked out. And the Silo looks great. I would have loved to have seen the look on his face when you gave it to him. Now are you going to get him to join the forums? Since he does have a BALL now.:D
