I'm hoping this bass will make me more manly;) I've had a bunch of 5ers over the years including a really nice SR5. I probably won't use the Sterling 5 as often as Jack uses his 5ers but I've missed having a B string available.

I just joined this band, tonight was my 6th practice with them. So far I've brought my Bongo, my Sterling HS and my Precision to rehearsals. I took the Sterling 5 tonight and got an immediate reaction. I was told that's the only bass I'm allowed to bring from now on. :) Everyone agreed it just seems to fit in the best.

I can't speak for anyone else, but seriously, this bass is my favorite bass now. The others kick butt and look amazing, but no BS I've found my "The One".

I hope you are as happy with yours as I am with mine!
