Ed rocks! Got to hang with him and Alain Caron a few years back when they were up here for the VanBass Conference and I tell ya, Ed is one of the coolest guys around. Awesome player, awesome educator and just all around great guy.

That was a good time and I really enjoyed meeting Ed at that.....

Nice samples.....now if I could just play like that sighs..

Sterling 5 for me?

Ah well, all this is too much for me...

I contacted the Australian distributor and they say they have ONE Sterling 5 ready for a dealer to snap up. As far as I am aware (and I might be wrong) this would be the first Sterling 5 to have hit the official distributors in Oz. So I got right on to my dealer and *fingers crossed* they will get it in for me to have first option on, at a nice price too. I have a good relationship with this dealer so if I don't want it they are happy to take it as stock. It's a natural/rosewood HH model. Needless to say, I'm getting a little excited.... :D

If I do pull the trigger, I will post pics, including one of me, a 6'2" geezer, holding it and "looking silly". Haha. :p
