Sterling ax (axis) owners qestion

How similar are the pickups to the axis pickups if you could characterize them like dimarzio does with a
0-10 bass, mid, treble etc how would you?? Just curious

i know it doesn't answer your ?, but someone posted here a couple of months back about the switch from the stock AX40 pups to the real Axis pups.

i remember the comments being that the AX40 pups were hotter, but muddier....they lost the definition that the Axis pickups retain when driven. fwiw.

well its not uncommon for me to go hacking into one LOL I guess time will tell i'm thinking about it but if a tobacco burst y2d with a floyd comes around for the right price that will probably be it lol

funny you mention the y2d. i just picked up a another ball, so now tobacco y2d is next on the list. i'll go hardtail though.

nice choice i'm interested in the new one for the hard tail. I'm a trem guy for some reason. I guess i'm in love with divebombs.
