I don't know about you guys but i was drooling with envy listening to sterling ball talk about the true potential of the bongo circuitry. Look Sterling, i hear what you're saying. There are a lot of assholes out there, many of them you need to buy instruments but they won't unless they can get what they want easily. But on the otherside of the coin there's guys like me who aren't going to sleep tonight thinking about how great it would be to weild that sort of power! The funny part is that i think i subconsciously knew you were doing something like that.

So here's the deal, you give me the bass. I'll never tell a soul. promise

I think he's referring to BP's comment on having to de-engineer the eq on the Bongos.

At Open House he talked about the original Bongo pre-amp when he was passing the protype around. I had 7 knobs on it!!! I am not sure what each was, but he talked about how "huge" a Bongo with that pre-amp would sound when you knew how to use it properly.
