I'm curious how these are made. Does the bass body go out to some other artist to paint up and then you get it back for clearcoating, finishing, etc. or is a particular design handed in to EB and you somehow print it on the bass? I'm not a fan of this particular bass design, but it's always cool to see something a "little" different.

I think the bass body went out to an artist friend of the bass player then came back to the factory for clearcoat and so on.

Yeah Roger was really stoke to get it , I was bugging him about it !
and he REALLY rocked that bass out , I saw the bass in action on Oct 07th 2006 ( yesterday for me ) IT SOUNDED SO GREAT ! and LOOK SO DAMN COOL
