Am receiving a Sterling SUB AX3 on Monday. I own a Les Paul & Strat; but remember playing one of the old OLP MM1 guitars some years back. I couldn't believe how well the neck felt and found myself playing that guitar for hours at a time. Since it's a budget guitar I am looking @ GFS pickups. Anyone have a review for their pups? One of the Lawrence 500 models may be a good choice @ the bridge. Ideas?

Nice. If you liked the OLP, you'll love the Sterling- it's a much better guitar. Why not give the pickups a go before swapping them out, though? Lots of people like them as-is.

(That said, I have lots of BLs in my guitars.)
