Hi Pat and it's great to hear from you.
I think your success will be dictated by your closeness with the Ball Family so that means it's fantastic that you showed up here.

Welcome Pat! Have you recovered from namm?

Pat did a great job at the namm show and figured out real quick that we dont drink decaf!

HI Sterling,
Thanks for having us at the EBMM booth. had a blast and was great to see you guys in action. Don't know if recovered, but am still going strong on NAMM fumes.

I'm in Singapore right now, waiting for my connecting flight to Indonesia. Haven't had a day off since NAMM. Hopped on a plane Friday morning. LAX to Narita, narita to Singapore almost 24 hours of flying. Its ok, I'm still young.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I've been checking the forum out for a few weeks and wanted to introduce myself after the show.

I intend to hang out and be available for any questions. Great forum and members.

I need some sleep.

Thanks!
Pat

Hi Pat
I hope that this venture is a great success.

Any plans on making it to the London International Music show - Blind Lemon from Strings n Things UK throws one hell of a party.

Bring some along with you?
do you know when the show is? I probably won't make it myself, but if its after we get our first shipment, we shoud have some guitar and basses there. I got to met the UK distributors and they were all rally cool and nice people. Would love to go the UK someday.

Thanks
Pat

Hey Pat, welcome. Can you post some pics of the Axis looking model? Thanks

when i get to the factory i'll post some pics of guitars that I inspected. They won't be supr hi res as I brought a video camera that does stills, but only at 480x320 res.

Thanks
Pat

Pat, is something for us Lefties in the future?

No firms plans right now. But will push for it at the next think tank meeting.
If you can let us know what you'd like to see that would be great. Lefties do involve alot of investment in additional tooling and is like designing a new guitar from the ground up. But I think we should at least have an axis and possibly a Silo. I can see a bass probably the Ray.

Thanks. I understand it's essentially a different instrument.
Just glad it's at least going to be looked at.

Just about anything would be fine.

alexander, the pics posted of the AX40 at namm show the back of another AX guitar, and you can see 3 bolts on the bass side, so it looks like they'll have 5 bolts.

Hey Pat,

I can't wait for the "technical spec's on all the instruments". I love Musicman, and I have several of the previous OLP MM models that I modified (in fact, I had FR's on them with trem stop before they did), so if you need a "promoter" of your Sterling line here in Northern Calif just let me know!!!:)

the guitars will use the same 5 bolt neck plate. The plate itself will say Sterling by Music Man.

The Ray 34 and Ray 35 use the 6 bolt neck plate. The SB14 will use a 5 bolt neck plate.

Pretty much whatever the USA MM's come with we will do the same. Our goal was to keep it as authentic to the originals as possible.

The Music Man guitars and basses are such great designs and it would be a shame to not acknowledge all the little details that make them so cool.

Thanks
Pat

the brochure and eventually the website will give most of the specs. anything else you need to know , pm me here or email and I'll talk it up.

Hi Pat, I was wondering, will the Silo20 be offered with a trem bridge?

thanks for making this line possible!

we're getting a lot of requests for it so its probably going to happen.
We're making a list of models and features that are being requested and will make some decisions once the initial line up is launched.

Welcome, Pat! I looked over the brochure. Are the Silos going to be available in a SSS pickup config? What color options will be available? A trem would be cool as well... Can't wait to check these out!
