What's the word on these? Does anyone have one yet?

Just curious, as it appears the Big Al is right out of my budget for a good long while.

When things get back to a reasonable facsimile of normal, I am considering a lovely carbon blue pearl SB14 to sit alongside the 'Ray.

A fine addition, I think!

Here's hoping!

The tuners looks quite a bit longer than on the original 'Ray. Anyone who has tried these instruments yet?

Do you know if it's the SB14 or the Ray34 he's reviewed?

he reviewed both the Ray34 and the SB14. Not sure if both will be in one review or 2 separate reviews.

He likes the SB14 so much he is gigging with it in his country band. If Ed approves I'll post the picture of him in his cowboy get up playing the SB14.

That Honeyburst looks so fine!

I have been kind of wanting to get a 5 string (gasp!!!!) to fiddle around with and now with SBM models; I will be able to get great one at a price that will not be painful if I turn out not to be a fiver kind of player.

Thanks again EBMM,

This is great news about Ed. I have a good feeling that the new guitars/basses will not be able to be beat at their price points.
