Do we know if the same export restrictions that apply to previous EBMM instruments also apply to the Sterling line?
It can be frustrating at times when I can't find a decent selection of EBMM instruments locally, but I can see that online retailers like Bass Central, Bass NorthWest, The Perfect Bass, et al. have just the bass I am looking for, but they can't sell it to me because of the distribution agreements in place. I am hoping that these online retailers will be able to sell the Sterling line internationally.
I would love to be able to pick up a Ray35, au natural when these come out.

I don't know what the answer is going to be but I know there are good Canadian dealers that can order whatever you like. Perhaps one of your fellow Canuckleheads out there can suggest a better dealer for you? In all fairness, you are in a much better position than some of the folks in Europe and down in South America when it comes to selection and the ordering process. Just a little perspective I guess.

Really, I'm what I'd call "pedestrian". I won't screw up your blues progression, I can fake McCartney-esque doodling and I'm king of the root-five!

Those are the exact qualities I look for ina bassist. Solid time, not to many notes. Knows how to play blues.

That is one pretty bass Ed is playin', these are going to be popular instruments just feel it.
I think it would be funny the next time EBMM sends Ed a bass for review they send him a lefty. On second thought he'd still play way better than me and I would be even more depressed...
